Birdwatching time, on the mainland, observation point for waders and shorebirds, on the “route des Tannes”, fixed station, little need to travel. 1.5 km max, 1 hour, single price €5, free for children under 6. 20 people max.

The birds of the nature reserve on the Oleron side, observation point for coastal shorebirds, presentation of the nature reserve and its habitats, in a posted reception. Free. 4 appoitment :

Let’s draw the landscape, guide nature and artist guide will help you to observe the landscape, understand the advance of the sea over the land, and test your drawing techniques. 15 € (artist’s share 12€), be over 8 years old. Outside of the times given below, please contact us.  During the activities, the reception area may be closed to the general public. Health and Safety is a priority with us.  Thank you for your understanding. 

  • From  1 st July to 30 st september 2025 open every day (except Saturdays and free days),  from 2.30pm till 6.pm.

Opening times for Footpaths

Sentier des Tannes footpath: open all year round from 7.00 am till 8.00 pm (bicycles and dogs on leads welcomed)

Sentier des Sablières footpath: open all year round from 7.00 am till 8.00 pm (pedestrians only – no dogs allowed)

Sentier des Lais de mer footpath: open all year round from 7.00 am till 8.00 pm (pedestrians only – no dogs permitted)

Sentier des Polders footpath: from 1st September to 31st January from 12.00 noon till 7.00pm and from 1st February to 31st August, from 7.00 am till 8.00 pm (pedestrians only – no dogs permitted).

Sentier de la Citadelle à la pointe des doux footpath: Open all year round(pedestrians only – no dogs allowed).
